Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of ScrollChamps. By using the app or website, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

Service Description

ScrollChamps is a social check-in app where users submit screenshots of yesterday's iPhone Screen Time, earn Daily W's, follow private-group Weekly W boards and medals, view personal trends, receive notifications, and use widgets. ScrollChamps does not provide background Screen Time tracking, direct Screen Time API access, or manual Screen Time entry in the current release.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ScrollChamps. You are responsible for complying with laws that apply to you.

Your Account

• You are responsible for activity under your account and linked sign-in methods.
• You agree to provide accurate account and profile information.
• You may use supported sign-in methods, including Apple, Google, and email magic link.
• You may delete your account from Settings.

Submissions and Fair Play

• You are responsible for submitting lawful and accurate screenshots.
• You may not falsify, manipulate, or misrepresent Screen Time submissions, group state, Daily W progress, or medal activity.
• ScrollChamps may reject screenshots that do not pass validation, including date, device, and total-time checks.
• Daily W progress and weekly group results are based on screenshot-derived submissions and the rules shown in the app.

Acceptable Use

• Do not harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or target other users.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
• Do not attempt to bypass app restrictions, security controls, privacy controls, visibility cooldowns, or service limits.
• Do not interfere with the app's infrastructure, availability, or integrity.

Groups, Reactions, and Safety Controls

• Group admins approve ordinary join requests and may remove members. A removed account cannot rejoin that group with an invite unless ScrollChamps changes that restriction.
• A single-use invite created by a group admin may admit its first recipient automatically. Other invite codes create join requests.
• Reactions are limited to one valid emoji. Do not use reactions or display names to harass, threaten, abuse, impersonate, or target others.
• You can block a member's reactions, report a display name or reaction, leave a group, or contact support. Use group controls first where they resolve the issue.
• ScrollChamps may review reported names or reactions and may remove content, restrict access, or take account action when needed to enforce these Terms or protect people and the service.

User Content and License

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant ScrollChamps permission to process submitted screenshots on device for OCR and to store extracted values, metadata, and related records needed to operate app functionality, including Daily W progress, group results, trends, widgets, and notifications.

Privacy and Visibility

Use of ScrollChamps is also governed by the Privacy Policy. Rankings are visible to group members. Exact Screen Time numbers follow each user's visibility setting and may be subject to cooldowns designed to protect fair competition and privacy expectations.

Payments and ScrollChamps Pro

ScrollChamps may offer paid ScrollChamps Pro subscriptions through the App Store. ScrollChamps Pro currently unlocks the Global Score share-card preview and export. Pricing, billing cadence, trial terms (if any), and renewal terms are shown in the App Store purchase flow before you subscribe. You can manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple ID account settings, subject to Apple's terms. We may add or change Pro features in the future; applicable purchase terms will be shown before purchase and these Terms may be updated.

Availability and Changes

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of ScrollChamps at any time to improve reliability, safety, compliance, or product quality.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, harm other users, interfere with ScrollChamps, or create legal or safety risk.

Disclaimers

ScrollChamps is a social accountability and competition tool that can help users reflect on screen-time habits and reduce recreational phone use where appropriate. ScrollChamps is not a medical device and does not provide medical, mental health, addiction-treatment, productivity, financial, or other professional advice. Daily W progress, weekly group results, trends, medals, and reminders are informational and social features only; they are not diagnosis, treatment, prevention, counseling, or therapy.

If you are concerned that phone addiction, compulsive screen use, anxiety, depression, or another health issue is affecting your wellbeing, relationships, school, work, or daily life, seek help from a qualified medical or mental health professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.

ScrollChamps is provided "as is" and "as available" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific competition results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScrollChamps is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app or website.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where ScrollChamps operates, unless otherwise required by local law.
